Could it be possible that there is an absolute link between the results you obtain and how unprepared you were before their possible outcomes? Undoubtedly, your results will probably reflect how unprepared you were.
After writing a post, “A lesson from the pot”, a friend of mine asked if it would be possible to have a second edition to that particular post.
In her words, she said:
Waiting is not just enough but what we do and act during the waiting process
I hope today’s post will give more insight into your attitude while you wait for certain things to happen or occur.
Reflecting on the past and events that have taken place is one wonderful gift we have. It’s best if we learn from them and improve our present for a better future.
Here is a short reference to a particular King. In his words, he said:
1st Chronicles 22:5
David said, Solomon my son is young and inexperienced, and the house that is to be built for the Lord must be exceedingly magnificent, of fame and glory throughout all lands. I will therefore prepare for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.
What has been laid up for you, and what are you planning to lay up for others? Big things do not just come into being. Thoughts and ideas do not just jump out into reality. Those desires, dreams, and all wouldn’t just happen if you fail to prepare for them. This year, try your possible best to live out your plans and bring them to reality.
Amongst the numerous things that helped Solomon in his time as a King was preparation. Hey there! While you wait in patience, prepare! While you wait for your time to come, prepare! The beauty of preparation will later be revealed by your results.
Solomon must have experienced the beauty of preparation. In his words he said:
Proverbs 24:27
[Put first things first.] Prepare your work outside and get it ready for yourself in the field; and afterward build your house and establish a home.
Another thing to have in mind is the understanding that although it is a good thing to prepare, it is better to have your plans committed to God. The God factor isn’t something that should be taken lightly. More than your wisdom, knowledge, and zeal, there is a God who determines the affairs of men.
Proverbs 21:31
The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD.
So, while you wait for winter, remember the words of Solomon.
Proverbs 30:25
The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer
At the end of it all, when opportunities meet preparation, your patience will surely count and wouldn’t be in vain.

Preparation is key and we can’t do that on our own. We need to commit our plans unto His hands. He is always able to make it happen.
