Hello! It's a bit different today ๐ค. I hope each line passes a message across to you. No worries, be sure to get at least a lesson at the end of this post. Thanks ๐
Time and time again, we can always learn about the little things that happen around us. Sometimes, lessons learned from these little things help to prevent mistakes later on at moments we have bigger decisions to make. You never can tell!

God’s inspirations bring understanding. You can be sure to count on them. It may be that little plate or that dried leaf in your compound. They are all around you willing to communicate with you.
Occasionally, you can get tired and angry after doing certain things, particularly house chores. Mind you, there are times these chores are done joyfully without anyone telling you to do them. Those emotions!
Which is sweeter? freshly cooked Jollof rice or the second day/few hours warmed rice which sometimes is partially burnt. They dominate especially at the base of the pot. Thick bent spoons are sometimes advised to be used. Maybe it’s not the sweetness Sha. You just may want to eat the one that’s left at all costs. ๐๐คท๐ฝโโ๏ธ
Were you ever scolded at a point in time for leaving a pot you should have washed immediately for a day or two. Maybe a week who knows? Don’t tell lies ๐คฅ. I doubt if you knew exactly what you were doing then. At such times its laziness that makes you do that. ๐๐ฝ ๐๐ฝ
There is something that’s always common with pots and food. Morsels like Wheat, Pounded Yam, Eba, and Amala are good examples. One can’t exclude Jollof rice. After cooking them it’s as if you can’t wash the pots used immediately. If you do, you may have to use an Iron sponge which is stressful and tiring.
By chance, if you have these meals at night and leave these pots with water in them till the next morning to wash. There should be a difference right? Check it out ๐. It’s so easy to wash them with an ordinary sponge. You just keep your hands in them and boom!
Compared to when they are just used, there’s the ease of washing the pot. The water was given a chance to soften those glued food particles to the pot.
What can you possibly choose to learn? Sometimes, we only need to give time a place in our pursuit of certain things. Sometimes, we need to be patient knowing fully well that’s it’s for our ease and good. One fruit of God’s Spirit ( Holy Spirit) is needed. This is patience.
That illustration might bring a different meaning to you, who knows. Maybe you are fed up with the process. It might be, so that things will later be done smoothly without stress or pain later on.
Like water for the Pot, God’s love is still there to help mend that broken heart.
Also, you might have spent excess time on a particular issue and have not let water perform its function. Maybe you can give water a space to soften those issues while you meditate on the whole process. Who knows a beautiful idea might come.
There are some other things you need must attend to. Let patience have her way. You will be surprised by the results you will get later on. Rushing and scrubbing that pot will not only give it a nice look. In the process, much strength will be used. In the end, you might have none left for greater tasks.
Remember, the role God plays in your pursuit in life is far beyond what you can imagine.
Psalms 127:1
AMP:
Except the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; except the Lord keeps the city, the watchman wakes but in vain.
โ โ โ ๐ ๐ Lest I forget, I didn’t say you should deliberately soak pots for days and leave the kitchen smelly๐๐ฝ.
