The too busy syndrome

Writing today’s blog post opened my mind to realize a lot.

How often do you feel too busy to attend to certain things?

It all appears that the “too busy ones” are the most responsible and honourable of the human race. You hardly can see them as they are involved with a lot in their hands.

You just scratch beyond the surface, and it all shows that there is little or nothing in the palms of their hands.

I may be wrong about that. I think they really are doing a lot. It’s just that they ignore the little things which matter.

Come on! Why will you say that? A lot is going through their minds. Why can’t you respect them for their freedom on what to do with their time?

Hey! Come off it! Come to think about it, are you that busy, or do you take pride in the general slogan, given excuses that you end up ignoring what counts?

Take a quick review of your day and see if you are busy indeed.

No doubt, I think we attend to what counts to us. The moment we begin to set priorities straight, we will find time to make it work.

Maybe you aren’t busy. You just may not count the “other things” worth doing.

Is it the time you spend with God, family, friends, and even resting? Should it always be when they ask for your time, you unimaginably get busy.

Check again! Review how your day went and how you have spent your time thus far. While we put what’s dear to us as priorities and to-do’s, we find time for them.

The question is, what’s dear to you? In the long run, what you choose to ignore, or pay attention to, will they count for you in times of need?

Have a wonderful weekend ☺ I’m glad you weren’t too busy to read this too.

You are loved 😍

[Take a quick review of your day and see if you are busy indeed.]
Really one is normally not that busy until there is some crisis, emergency.
Your post is an eye-opening post.
Indeed, it is important to scan within own self that how I passed my day. Was it worth? Did I act rightly?
This is big question “* The question is, what’s dear to you? In the long run, what you choose to ignore, or pay attention to, will they count for you in times of need?*”
I got some learning in this post. Thank you so much for pointing values.

  2. One of my clients once told me, “If you want a job done, ask the busiest person you know, so I asked you.” People who are truly busy, know the genius of multi-tasking – getting their work done without neglecting family and friends, and most important, themselves. It is said that everyone should meditate a half hour per day. If you’re too busy, then you should meditate an hour. It’s true. Those who are REALLY busy, versus those who are pseudo busy, know how to manage their time. πŸ™‚

I’m so sorry for the late response. I’m not even happy that I’m just replying this. I went off and now I’m back. Apart from being a blogger, I’m also a web designer and I will be glad to help.
