MARANATHA

Speaking of the realities of life and effort made by individuals, families, the community, and the world at large there are different means and methods to combat a problem. It is obvious that the world at every stage tries its possible best to combat possible problems as well as avoiding every possible risk that might stand as a threat to its existence.

Come to think about it, whenever certain things are mentioned over and over again there is this mindset we have that we consider such things spoken of with levity. Sometimes we choose to water the reality of some events due to time frame and many other reasons we choose to give. Our preparations for such activities at times are as if they never existed.

Mark 13:28

Now learn a lesson from the fig tree: as soon as its branch becomes tender and it puts forth its leaves, you recognize and know that summer is near.

Maranatha ( 1 Corinthians 16:22 ) consists of two Aramean words, Maran’athah, meaning, “our Lord comes,” or is “coming.” If the latter interpretation is adopted, the meaning of the phrase is, “Our Lord is coming, and he will judge those who have set him at nought.” (Compare Phil 4:5 ; James 5:8 James 5:9 .)

Speaking of The rapture and all that the Bible has actually spoken about, I suggest that you check Matthew 24 and Mark 13. This is not a writing to scare anyone, even God desires that we worship him and reverence him and not in fear that makes you panic. To what extent can we actually say we have prepared for this great event which is spoken about almost every time. In our day to day activities can we boldly say we are conscious?

Luke 1:74 :

That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,

So as a reminder of what really matters to our eternal value let us examine ourselves whether we are still in faith and tell God to help us check our lives and grant us grace even in those areas we are struggling. He’s willing and waiting to help. Even with open arms. And if by chance you have left the right path or you know deep down your heart that you have actually not accepted Jesus it’s never too late. Go on your knees and speak your mind to him.

And why should we ourselves risk our lives hour by hour?

Thanks so much 😍. 1st Corinthians 15 will go a long way to help. Shalom. Fear not. Depend solely on God’s grace to actually help. God help us.
