Forced relevance

Did you ever wonder how well you matter to people or what value your life offers? Maybe you are not that significant yet to be observed or appreciated.

My sincere apologies if I sounded rude.

Here is the story of Emmanuel, born in a town where people are considered insignificant. It was a town where most people never expected something good to come from. More than this was the determination of Emanuel to live a life worthy of emulation. As he grew and went about improving peoples live and contributing value to his society, it appeared that it was not enough to convince everyone that despite his background, he was more than they could ever imagine.

Painfully, not only did people who knew where Emmanuel came from despised him, even his family members did not believe in him. That was not even encouraging at all.

Despite all odds, Emmanuel proved that more than accepting peoples opinions or regard for one’s life, there was more.

While you might be waiting for more lines to the story, you already know its ending.

Do not go too far. Emmanuel is Jesus, and the town in question is Nazareth.

While Jesus was teaching at that time, and people were astonished at such wisdom and power, all they could sum up was: is this not the carpenter, the son of Mary?

See finish niyen naaa 😲

Irrespective of how relevant you might be, not everyone will accept you, and it is good you know that now.

You see, more than you could ever imagine, you matter, but not everyone sees this. Everyone will not either.

Why spend time forcing your relevance to be seen or applauded by people?

Your life counts and is of great value and relevance. Nevertheless not everyone sees this or will acknowledge it. So do not define your life by the standards and rejections of men.

There is God, and He is the one who gives a clear and more detailed picture of you. More than you value yourself, He does!

So, in all that you do, rather than striving to please men, forcing your importance for them to see, glorify God.

Let your light shine and they will all see. Their acceptance or rejection does not deny your lights shining

Matthew 5:14-16 MSG

“Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.

Thanks so much for your presence 😄 🤭
