The smoke from the motorcycle

Were you ever walking beside the road and a old Suzuki passed by you and a few seconds later you started covering your nose? What actually caused it? Here is an afterthought of the possible implications of a scene as such. Please take time to get to the end and do well to have a reflection.

A motorcycle can smoke due to worn out piston rings inside the engine that causes oil to seep up into the combustion chamber. Motorcycle smoking can also be caused by an external engine oil leak that burns from the heat of the engine, poorly grounded wires, as well as newly installed exhaust wraps that haven’t fully cured themselves yet.

Any time you see excessive smoke in any situation, no matter where you are, it should be promptly addressed. Smoke is mother nature’s way of warning us that something isn’t quite right. In fact, it’s almost pretty common, especially with older motorcycles. But it can be scary when you see it and you’ll probably want to fix it quickly because it’s also pretty embarrassing.

So? What’s my business with a motorcycle and its smoke.

It was in a gathering with about ten to fifteen persons. Others were walking in groups and behold a motorcycle passed with so much smoke from its rare end. The place was so dense with the smoke from this motorcycle that the people all needed to scatter and run to gasp for fresh air. The motorcycle indeed had caused a lot. Clothes with perfumes now had the smell of a pollutant. Since it was from the rear end of the bikie and he was sitting in front. He had no idea of what his motorcycle had caused although, he knew he had to repair it still he took no thought as regards his bike thinking the smoke would not affect him.

Matthew  5:14  Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

John  3:20  For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

Matthew  5:13  Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt has lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

As an individual are your piston rings not worn. Has your oil not leaked away to be burnt by your heating anger. Are your wires poorly grounded that you now shock everyone around you. Have you not been cured of the pains of the past and the success of yesterday that you now burden those around you dragging them and refusing to move. Are you too old that you refuse to embrace the newness of what life can offer? Still, sticking to that same method over and over again?

Smoky Habits

Here are few of those things that pollute you as well as those around you :

  • Pride
  • Gluttony
  • Rudeness
  • Anger
  • Bad thoughts
  • Selfishness
  • Grumbling
  • Arrogance
  • Not considering the opinions of others
  • Talking too much
  • Grumbling
  • The works of the flesh
  • Stubbornness
  • Complaining
  • Borrowing and not returning internationally
  • Laziness

But it can be scary when you see it and you’ll probably want to fix it quickly because it’s also pretty embarrassing. You need a repair or should I say you need something new.

Isaiah 41:15 Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.

Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Isaiah 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Why not return to the one who made you for he knows how to make you better. He’s waiting with open arms that you return and tell him those faults you know and be surprised to learn more about yourself. The set time is now.

So what other smoky habits do you know? Your reply will be appreciated. Thanks.
