2nd Year blog anniversary

I remember writing my first blog post: “at a time like this” about two years ago. The anxiety, help, inquiries, expectations, and responses I got were surprising. Now, it’s two years.

Whoosh! Truth be told, this is by the grace of God, the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and the gift of men.

I was amazed to find out that my first blog post still speaks a lot, even to my fellow Nigerian students affected by the ongoing educational strike across public universities.

While I kept wondering about what I could write, I decided to share a few lessons I have gotten from my blog journey. No worries, it’s creative, and it cuts across your own story. Be assured you can relate well. 😉

You can get frustrated

It is true that in the pursuit of a goal, one might see ahead. The journey must be by faith. Although frustrations do exist, that isn’t the end. There is a comfort that God gives. Don’t be afraid if you get tired. It is a sign that you need strength. Undoubtedly you can get this from the God of comfort.

2 Corinthians 1:3

The statistics may not be encouraging even after spending hours writing and editing. Sometimes after publishing a post, I get discouraged after checking my analytics. 😂😂 I say to myself: I am writing no more. Thankfully, here is a post 😂

ALL PRAISE TO GOD, THE FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. GOD IS OUR MERCIFUL FATHER AND THE SOURCE OF ALL COMFORT.

Be encouraging

You will be surprised what a single comment can do. Encouraging people comes in different ways, and you sure have a tool to help someone else. While consistency may be a key to growth, discouragement can break its flow.

You have what it takes to encourage someone else, even yourself. Be inspired! Become a source of inspiration not only to yourself but to others, as there is a priceless value encouragement holds.

Little beginnings

It’s a phase, and the journey continues. These phases are shreds of evidence that what you will have or the height you will attain in times to come followed a process.

Zachariah 4:10

Make something happen

By doing the needful, you can make something happen. Do not be among the bloggers who are pained about their statistics and fail to learn ways to improve their numbers.

While it is true God will help, you have a part to play to see your change come true.
