A letter from Faith

Dear,

Hebrews 11:1

Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.

My manners! How have you been? I hope you are doing great and well in all your endeavors? It’s such a wonderful privilege having you crossover into the new year. I’m glad you are present in 2021.

It’s a wonderful privilege to address you like a person. Who would have thought that I could take a pen to write a letter to you? I’m Faith, yeah the Faith spoken of in Hebrews 11:1.

I have decided to write to you as a person and to pass a message across to you. It will desire that you pay close attention while reading this letter.  At the end of it all, I hope your reactions to me change for the best and that things become better, even this new year which you have entered.

Frustrations are some of the things I have seen most people get. Most times, it even gets to certain stages where it seems my application is of no use and that I am not important. They believe that they would get certain things, and yet!

I happen to witness this most times this happens. Sometimes, it pains me when those who exhibit me in their character and decisions make me feel to lonely and hurt.

Sometimes, I cry out to my users to feel my loneliness. Most times, they either leave me for a while or let go of me completely. That can be so painful and annoying when someone you love and willing to help doesn’t understand you. Here is my plight!

James 2:17

AMP: So also faith, if it does not have works (deeds and actions of obedience to back it up), by itself is destitute of power (inoperative, dead).

Yeah! I’m destitute of power without works.

This has even gone a long way to affect your relationship with others.

James 2:16 AMP

And one of you says to him, Good-bye! Keep [yourself] warm and well fed, without giving him the necessities for the body, what good does that do?

Of what importance is my use when you do not show this with your good works.

I’m happy that you have me, but I will be happier if you could bring my close friend (work) with me. We walk side by side. Work is a very close friend of mine who is revealed in love, diligence, and hard work. Together we can move mountains for you.

Hebrews 11:6

And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

Sincerely seeking God is also another aspect where my partner, work is important. Having me to please God is a great deal. Should reward be given when nothing is done? So what’s with your relationship with God? How’s your walk as work with Him going?

I have to go now. I’m very sorry there is little I could say, as there is more to learn and know about me. If it be, I will possibly write again to unravel myself to you.

Thanks so much for taking the time to hear me out. I trust that in one way or the other, there will be an improvement on your part. You watch and see when that happens.

So, happy new year! I hope that this year you prove your faith with good works. Dreams, goals, plans alone won’t come into being without you doing something about them. If you believe in yourself, then do not stop at that alone. Bring them out into fulfillment by working them out and trusting in God.

God wouldn’t do for you what He expects that you do. Just do your best to plant and water. Surely He will give you the increase you desire, even more.

Your friend,

Faith
