You are welcome ๐ค. I’m certain you can read this knowing fully well that it was written in English.
It’s so beautiful to understand some languages. At times they sound so funny such that you can’t refuse to laugh. Sometimes the rising and falling, of some tones sound ridiculous and some are so sharp. Some languages are also similar in pronunciation and spellings such that a yes here may be a no elsewhere. No matter how they sound they still hold their meanings and the values they carry.
At one time, all the people of the world spoke the same language. Now we have numbers of languages across the globe. Thinking about this; from where did these languages come from?
Going back in time, the Bible records the truth that it was at the tower of Babel that this happened. What led to this?
Man is a unique creature with great expectations, ambitions, goals, thoughts and desires. This is one of the reasons the world evolved from the stone age to this present time. It was this desire that led to the number of languages we have today.
In the long run, we can learn certain things from Babel’s Tower. Two verses in the Bible will be considered. I will love it if you will pay attention to them.
Genesis 11:4
Then they said, โCome, letโs build a great city for ourselves with a tower that reaches into the sky. This will make us famous and keep us from being scattered all over the world.โ
Genesis 1:28
Then God blessed them and said, โBe fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it.
What difference can you observe in the above verses?
In the gathering of man then, they decided to do something unique together that even God had to come down to see what they were up to. Their union was so strong that God commended their unity. Genesis 11:5-6. You can check it out.
Why then did God have to stop this unique idea from being fully developed?
The answer
It was against God’s plan for man
The earth is just too big a place for an entire race to settle. It was the makers plan that what He made goes far beyond a confined location. They were too myopic to see what was ahead of them.
If God gave us the ability to think and expand our mindset He expects that we do so but not against His will for our lives. Sometimes we also choose to settle for less when God has greater plans for our lives. We shouldn’t be myopic in our decisions and our visions but in all these, they should not be outside God’s plan. This will help avoid frustrations and depressions. In all things, God’s counsel will surely stand.
Remember
Psalms 127:1
Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted.

Thanks bro
So true! Itโs so fulfilling to be a part of what God is building. When Iโm just following my own plans itโs so frustrating. ๐
Exactly! It is.
๐ May God help us to have the mind of Christ.
Thanks so much for checking it out and for your expression ๐ค
Yes may our minds and our attitudes keep coming into conformity with the mind and attitude of Christ. ๐
